Nazem Kadri do know the art of chirping. Last night, Buffalo Sabres defenseman Brandon Montour got heckled hard by Kadri.
If there’s someone in the Colorado Avalanche who’s not afraid of getting dirty, it’s definitely Nazem Kadri. The London, Ontario native has been involved in three fights since joining the team last summer in a trade with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
The chirping game on the ice might not be as widely used as before. But Kadri definitely brought it back to the game last night.
Against the Buffalo Sabres, Kadri got into a small scrum with Sabres Brandon Montour and several other players. Before returning to each bench, Kadri made sure to tell the defenceman how good of a hockey player he is.
“You’re a shitty defenceman on a shitty fucking team”, Kadri screamed.
