The NHLPA released its 2017-18 poll this morning, and fans had the chance to see what the talent of the NHL thinks about their peers.
One of the categories was the toughest player to play against both defensively and offensively.
On the backend, Ottawa Senators star Erik Karlsson received 22.1% of the vote. Right behind him was another Norris winner in Drew Doughty at 20.4%. Shea Weber was also close to Doughty and Karlsson, with 19.4% of the vote.
The forward debate was dominated by two players: Sidney Crosby and Connor McDavid. Crosby ended up edging McDavid, with a percentage of 30.4% to 30.1%. Patrick Kane was next in line with 5.7%.
