Connor McDavid’s top speed reveals he’s not human, roaring past Blackhawk defense for insane goal

Connor McDavid scored his first post-season hattrick of his career last night with Edmonton came up with a 6-3 win to even the series against the Chicago Blackhawks.

The 23 year old superstar scored twice in the first period and one in the second. The first goal came just 19 seconds into the game.

“You never plan to score on the first shift, but we wanted to have a good start and make sure we were in their zone and we found a way to get one, and that was good,” McDavid said after the game.

Since no fans were in attendance, an employee threw a couple of hats onto the ice. McDavid didn’t see any need to celebrate.

“I thought it was unnecessary. Just drop the puck and let’s get going,” he told reporters.

McDavids second of the game was pure hockey magic. McDavid knocked the puck out of the neutral zone, skated past two Blackhawk players before lifting the puck over Corey Crawford.

We’ve all seen what McDavid can do on the ice. But this one was something else.

According to The Edmonton Journal. McDavid skated past Olli Maatta at 23,6 mph.

Game 3 of the series is played Wednesday.
