Team Canada on public transportation
In the days leading up to the tournament, the team has been exploring the city of Milan. On Tuesday, they attended the short track speed skating mixed relay. Sidney Crosby shuts down reporter
The team’s choice of transportation has become a hot topic, though Sidney Crosby doesn’t consider it a particularly interesting one. When asked about it, he shut down the question in the most wholesome way.
“I don’t know why it’s a big deal that we took public transportation. I think it was just a good opportunity for us to be together as a group, regardless of how we got there or what we went to,” Crosby said.
Fans are loving it
Fans are now laughing about—and loving—the level of wholesomeness Crosby gives off.
“He’s right! Great field trip, great way to see the sights,” one fan wrote.
“Because you are a humble person and the group just followed the leader,” another added.
“It’s a brilliant move to keep their feet on the ground too, psychologically,” a third commented.
