Brad Marchand crashes Nick Suzuki’s interview

Team Canada has landed in Italy and is now settling into its new environment. But some things remain the same—like Brad Marchand being a true jokester, a trait he showed when he interrupted Nick Suzuki during an interview.

Team Canada boasts an extremely star-studded roster for the upcoming Olympics. Captained by Sidney Crosby, with Connor McDavid and Cale Makar as alternates, Canada is considered a favorite to win the gold medal.

Lots of superstars

Crosby, along with Drew Doughty, is one of the only players on the roster with Olympic experience. But the team doesn’t lack depth, with the likes of Brad Marchand bringing both skill and personality. Marchand isn’t just an experienced hockey player—he’s also a seasoned prankster: a pest on the ice, but always appreciated by teammates for his sense of humor. He proved it once again on Sunday.

Brad Marchand hilarious chirp

Forward Nick Suzuki was giving an interview, discussing how the team is working on finding chemistry between the lines. Then, Brad Marchand crashed the interview, speaking loudly in French.
“Je m’appelle Nick Suzuki,” Marchand shouted as he walked by, leaving both the reporters and Suzuki laughing.
Fans have been enjoying Marchand’s unique way of bonding with his Team Canada teammates.
“I hate how Marchand is funny, he gets a pass for the Olympics,” one fan wrote on X.
“Team Canada Marchy is the best,” another added.
“Nick looked like, for a second there, he forgot that guy was on his team now. Embrace the antics, Nick!” a third fan commented.
