Brad Marchand heartfelt tribute
Last night, Brad Marchand returned to the arena, fans, and team that loved him for so many years and even saw him captain the Original Six franchise for almost two seasons before he was traded. The crowd and his former teammates showed their appreciation for Marchand with a beautiful tribute video that moved him to tears. The Panthers went on to win the game 4–3, ending their four-game road losing streak.
Hinted about comeback
When speaking to reporters after the game, Brad Marchand once again thanked the Bruins for their support, but also hinted at a possible future with the team. When asked about a return to Boston, he said the following:
“If I’m being completely honest, absolutely. It’s an organization that I feel like I’ll always be a part of in some capacity down the road. I’m sure me and some of the guys will have some conversations. What I’ve been through here — just the blood, sweat, and tears — it would be hard not to want to be involved,” he told reporters.
