The Florida Panthers secured their second consecutive Stanley Cup last week and haven’t stopped celebrating since. On the Spittin’ Chiclets podcast, Matthew Tkachuk revealed that the Panthers racked up a $500,000 bar tab at a nightclub, and several videos showing the Panthers partying have gone viral over the past week. And now, Brad Marchand is once again making headlines—this time taking a jab at Jake Walman.
Laughed in Nosek’s face
During the Finals, both teams tried to get under each other’s skin. In Game 1, Jake Walman made headlines when he laughed in the face of Tomas Nosek after Nosek received a penalty for delaying the game by shooting the puck over the boards, ultimately costing the Panthers the game. It’s a moment Brad Marchand decided to revisit on Instagram yesterday.
Brad Marchand’s perfect comment
On the Instagram account Barkovmemes, the picture of Walman laughing was originally posted when the incident happened. But last night, Marchand went on Instagram and added a late comment:
“Think he’s still laughing?” Marchand wrote—and fans are absolutely loving it.
“You’re such a GOAT, Marchy, please stay with us,” one fan wrote.
“They tried so hard to be you guys,” another commented.
“Mr. Bradley Kevin Marchand, will you please be my dad?” a third fan added.
