Evander Kane has TV studio in stitches with funny response

The Edmonton Oilers are in the driver’s seat in their series against the Vegas Golden Knights, following a 3-0 win at home. Oilers forward Evander Kane scored in the game, just as he did in Game 2. His explanation for why he scored in those two games had the NHL studio in stitches.

The Edmonton Oilers are heading to Las Vegas for Game 5 with a chance to advance to the Conference Finals, leading the series 3-1. Evander Kane has been a valuable contributor since returning from the LTIR list, with two goals and one assist in this series. In total, Kane has five points in eight playoff games.

However, he was scoreless in Game 3, and according to him, it was because he took the wrong car to the game. Afterward, Kane gave a postgame interview with the NHL studio, where newly retired Pat Maroon had a chance to ask a few questions. Kane’s response had the entire studio laughing.

Hilarious response

“I saw you rolled up in Vegas in a Rolls-Royce and you scored a goal, and I saw you roll up in a Rolls-Royce tonight. Is that something you thought about going into Game 4? Are you superstitious?” Maroon asked.
“Well, I rolled up in a Ferrari for Game 3 and that didn’t work, so I said I wanna go back to the Rolls-Royce,” Kane answered with a huge grin.
Game 5 will be played in Las Vegas on Wednesday. You can watch the hilarious clip below.
