Marty McSorley
Marty McSorley is a Canadian defenceman who played 961 NHL games, won two Stanley Cups with Edmonton and finished fourth on the all-time penalty-minutes list. McSorley spent most of his career as Wayne Gretzky's on-ice protector and was traded to Los Angeles alongside Gretzky in 1988. McSorley never played in the NHL again after striking Donald Brashear with his stick in February 2000, an incident that brought a one-year suspension and a conviction for assault with a weapon.
