Dave Williams, known throughout hockey as Tiger, is the NHL's all-time penalty-minutes leader, with 3,971 minutes in 962 games. Williams played for Toronto, Vancouver, Detroit, Los Angeles and Hartford between 1974 and 1988, and was a real scorer as well as a fighter, finishing with 241 goals and a 35-goal season for the Canucks. Williams reached the Stanley Cup Final with Vancouver in 1982 and is remembered as much for riding his stick like a horse after goals as for anything that happened in the penalty box.
