Torey Krug fires puck at linesman, gets ejected from the game by Wes McCauley

The Tampa Bay Lightning had a fun time last night, beating the Boston Bruins 7-1 in Game 3 taking the lead in their Eastern Conference Second Round series.

Nikita Kucherov had four points in the big win as the Lightning scored three times with the man advantage.

He’s now tied with Vincent Lecavalier, Tyler Johnson and Brayden Point for most points in a playoff game in Lightning history.

“This doesn’t happen in playoff hockey. They’re the Presidents’ Trophy champions. You turn the page on this one just like you turn the page on an overtime thriller. You can’t hang your hat on that one,” Lightning coach Jon Cooper said on the final score of the game.

Torey Krug was inside the action with a fight against Tyler Johnson. But in the third period, with 10 minutes to go, he was done for the night.

After referee Wes McCauley called an offside, the Boston forward flicked the puck towards a linesman. McCauley noticed what Krug did, and ejected him from the game.

The Bruins face Lightning in Game 4 of the series Friday.
