Matthew Tkachuk makes the coldest chirp of the year against rookie, and fans can’t stop laughing

The Calgary Flames faced the Nashville Predators, and it was a game that had it all. A lot of goals, huge hits, a big fight, and so much drama. The Flames tied the game up, 4-4, with just 0.1 seconds left in regulation, but the physical engagement in the game got fans goings. Milan Lucic perhaps described it best.

“I’ve got to say, I’ve played over 1000 games and that was probably in the top five games that I’ve been a part of, with the goal, the hits, the fights, the emotion, the crowd,” he said.

Lucic was involved in several incidents during the game. In the first period, he dropped the gloves against Mark Borowiecki, and late in the third, the Flames player demolished Matt Duchene with a huge hit that got called for interference. The Flames were trailing at 3-4 but killed off the penalty and tied the game up.

But during the game, Matthew Tkachuk, of course, was involved in some scrum. Both teams were riled up as the first period ended, and Tkachuk argued with Predators player Mathieu Olivier. Olivier had only played in eight games in the NHL before last night’s game, and Tkachuk saw an opportunity to take a shot at him.

As the referee separated them both, Tkachuk could be seen asking Olivier if he wanted an autograph from him. It’s shithousery in its finest, and fans were just loving how cold Tkachuk was against Olivier.
” That’s actually really funny,” one fan says.
” I love hockey, guys got chirps,” says another one.
