Matthew Tkachuk loses it after Jake Muzzin flips puck at him, causing a scrum and goes berserk on and off the ice

Not a day goes by for Matthew Tkachuk without making some headlines. It’s been just days since the Flames’ star was involved in an incident with Toronto Maple Leafs’ Jack Campbell, as many believed Tkachuk fell on the goaltenders back/neck in a battle in front of goal on purpose.

But on Tuesday, the Maple Leafs got their revenge on Tkachuk. The Flames had just lost the 4-3, and as the final horn sounded, Matthew Tkachuk was standing on his knees behind his own goal. Jake Muzzin then took the puck and flipped it on Tkachuk.

To nobody’s surprise, Tkachuk didn’t just let it go and left the ice peacefully. Instead, he lost it and immediately went after Muzzin, causing a scrum between several players.

As Tkachuk left the ice the telecast showed him slamming the bench door multiple times – right in front of Flames’ captain Mark Giordano. Before getting to the locker room, Tkachuk also took a swipe at some water bottles.
