Jonathan Marchessault sneaked out of the locker room during intermission to watch his kid play hockey

Jonathan Marchessault is playing great hockey at the moment. He had a helper to Ivan Barbashev in the Golden Knights’ 4-3 win over the Canadiens Sunday and also had three shots on goal and two hits.

Marchessault has two goals and four assists in his last six contests and is third in points for Vegas this campaign.

Marchessault got a lot of attention on social media during the weekend, but it was because of something other than playing hockey. In fact, he was praised for watching hockey.

During one of the game’s intermissions, fans in attendance could enjoy a different kind of hockey. As usual, kids took on the ice and played a game, and one of the kids who skated around was Jonathan Marchessault’s kid.

Jonathan Marchessault didn’t pass on the opportunity to see his kid play hockey, so he actually sneaked out from the locker room right in the middle of a game, to see his kid play. Marchessault was seen sitting on the bench and even shared a hug with his kid before returning to the locker room.

There’s a special between a father and son, especially if they both love hockey, and this is the ultimate proof. What a special and beautiful moment!
