Bruins coverage is one of the few that did not change this year: NESN has the local games, as it has for decades, and the only moving part is what NESN 360 costs. Boston Bruins open the season at home to the Rangers on 29 September, on ESPN.
How do I watch the Bruins?
NESN, through Xfinity, Spectrum, Cox, Optimum, Verizon Fios, DIRECTV, DIRECTV Stream, Fubo and the smaller New England providers. There is no over-the-air option. For streaming, NESN 360 is free if you already have a participating television provider — you sign in with your existing account — or you can buy it standalone.
What does NESN 360 cost?
$29.99 a month, or $239.99 a year at list price. NESN has been running the annual plan at $180 for a first year. Selected home games are also produced in 4K HDR, available through NESN 360, DIRECTV, Fubo and Verizon Fios.
Where are Bruins games blacked out?
NESN’s home territory is Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine and Connecticut except Fairfield County — which is the one to watch, because Fairfield County sits in the New York market. Outside the territory, NESN National cannot carry Bruins games and you need an out-of-market package.
Who calls Bruins games now?
Judd Sirott on play-by-play, with Andy Brickley on colour — a question that still comes up, because Jack Edwards stepped away after 2023-24 and retired from play-by-play in 2024. Adam Pellerin and Andrew Raycroft work rinkside, Sophia Jurksztowicz hosts, and Billy Jaffe, Barry Pederson and Raycroft rotate through studio. On radio, 98.5 The Sports Hub carries all games with Ryan Johnston and Bob Beers — Johnston took the radio chair when Sirott moved to NESN.
How often are the Bruins on national television?
Twenty times, across ESPN, TNT and ABC, including five Saturday afternoon appearances on ABC between January and April. They open at home against the Rangers on 29 September at 8pm on ESPN.
