Who is Katie Engleson?
Katie Engleson is the reporter who works ice level on Florida Panthers games, and since 2024-25 she has also hosted the club’s own weekly program. The Panthers’ broadcaster page describes her as the rink-side reporter in her fifth season, and the club’s programming announcement of 28 September 2026 lists her alongside play-by-play voice Steve Goldstein, analyst Randy Moller and intermission host Jessica Blaylock.
Her broadcasts changed address without her moving. The Panthers left Bally Sports Florida for their own arrangement with Scripps Sports, announced on 2 July 2024, and the games now air on The Spot South Florida and on LAFF in the south-west of the state, with 69 of the 84 on Scripps channels. The channels and streams for every Panthers game are in our guide to how to watch the Florida Panthers.

What is Primetime Panthers?
Primetime Panthers is the Panthers’ weekly behind-the-scenes series, and Katie Engleson hosts it. The club calls the series Telly Award-winning: an episode from the first season, built around the team’s trip to Finland, took a Silver Telly in the General Sports category. The show reached its 50th episode on 21 January 2026, and its third season premiered on 30 September 2026.
It is the part of her work that is hers rather than the broadcast’s. A rinkside reporter gets two or three questions a night between periods; a weekly show is a format she carries.
Has Katie Engleson won an Emmy?
Not according to her employer. The Panthers list three Emmy nominations from her years in Dallas and no wins.
Her Dallas nominations come from her work covering the Mavericks and the Rangers for a regional network that has since changed owners and names twice.
