Connor Bedard takes huge dig at Los Angeles Kings after loss

Following the 3-1 loss to the Los Angeles Kings, Chicago Blackhawks forward Connor Bedard didn’t mince words when asked about the Kings’ style of play.

Bedard is one of the most hyped young players in the NHL today. Starting his third season, he has already put up three goals and five assists in nine games for a Blackhawks team that has been struggling to find consistency in the early part of the season.

Connor Bedard takes jab at LA Kings

Last night, the Blackhawks fell short against the LA Kings, who earned their first regulation win of the season, despite Bedard giving Chicago an early lead in the first period. During the postgame interview, Bedard shared his honest thoughts on the Kings’ style of play and seized the moment to take a jab at them.

”Really boring”

Bedard was asked if there were any takeaways from the game, being down against a team like the Kings.
“I think on a team like that, you just have to figure out how to create offense. They play really boring. It’s not like a dig or anything—they sit back a lot and make it hard to get zone entries. We’re putting it in and trying to go get it, but they’re good at breaking it out,” Bedard told reporters.
Next up, Chicago will face the Ottawa Senators, while the Kings take on the San Jose Sharks.
