The Toronto Maple Leafs lost their second game in a row in Florida last night. During the game, cameras and microphones picked up some chirping from Matthew Tkachuk directed at William Nylander…
The Maple Leafs had a great start to their second-round series against last year’s Stanley Cup champions, the Florida Panthers, winning two straight games at home. In those two wins, Leafs star William Nylander played a big role, scoring and outplaying the Panthers.

But the Panthers are favorites to win the Cup for the second time in two years for a reason—they just don’t give up. Last night, they secured their second home win with a 2–0 victory, tying the series. After the game, several heated moments were discussed by fans and experts. Max Domi sent Panthers captain Aleksander Barkov hard into the boards, leading to a big scrum. In the commotion, cameras caught Panthers forward Matthew Tkachuk making a promise to Leafs winger William Nylander.

Now, everyone is saying Tkachuk wants revenge on the Leafs after Domi’s hit on Barkov.
“I’ll get you next time,” Tkachuk can be seen shouting at Nylander.
Nylander, however, reacted just as William Nylander usually does—calmly.
“He’s trying his best to get under his opponents’ skin. Next game is going to be a lot of fun,” Nylander told Swedish outlet Aftonbladet after the game.
Game five will be played in Toronto on Wednesday. You can watch the clip below.
