Both hail from Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia, and spend summers together back home working out together and training over the offseason.
One thing they also do together is create commercials and be ambassadors for Tim Horton’s. We’ve seen the pair handle the drive-thru, trade each other’s hockey cards and have a new, flashy ride to drive around town in (which is actually a Zamboni).
The commercials are funny and light-hearted and certainly entertaining. But although we normally equate Crosby and MacKinnon with perfection, it doesn’t mean there aren’t a few bumps in the road creating the commercials.
I’m sure we’ve all been in a situation where we are trying to get something done or be serious but cannot stop laughing.
In the bloopers for the newest commercial, it’s clear Crosby and MacKinnon have fun on set and have loads of laughing moments. Crosby said it best, stating “I’m not a pro.”
Sid’s right, he may not be a professional actor but he does create entertaining commercials.
The commercials are fun to watch and we cannot wait to see what the pair have in store for next off-season.
