See the Emotional Video That Brought Tears to Marc Andre Fleury in his Return

It was an emotional night in Pittsburgh last evening, as former Penguins goaltender Marc Andre Fleury returned to Pittsburgh for the first time since being selected by Vegas in the expansion draft last summer.

Earlier in the day, Fleury received his Stanley Cup ring from Mario Lemieux and it instantly brought back fond memories of when “Flower” was a Penguin.

The reminiscing of the good old days didn’t stop there, as Fleury and Phil Kessel had a funny exchange in the hallway of the PPG Arena.

Finally, the Penguins honored their former goaltender by playing a video tribute to Fleury prior to the game. After receiving a standing ovation and an official welcome back from the PA Announcer, the camera caught Fleury getting emotional after the overwhelming support from his former club.

With not a dry-eye in the building, including Fleury, it’s clear that he will go down as a fan-favorite and the fans will always support their former brick wall, despite the opposing jersey he wears.
