The Golden Knights’ may have cooled off after starting an impressive 8-1, but their social media presence is still flaming hot. Being the new kids on the block, the Knights’ twitter account has been dropping chirps and witty banter ever since their official handle was created. Their most recent victim included the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Vegas’ most recent road swing hasn’t been great, losing their first three contests. However, they did manage to pick up a victory against the Ottawa Senators in a close 5-4 contest.
The Knights will travel to Toronto to play more hockey, and the banter has already begun. Vegas tweeted out they are no longer undefeated during the regular season but are undefeated in Canada. It’s a mere 1-0-0 record, but the stat is factual.
With the Maple Leafs, you either love them or hate them. Vegas stirred the pot even more, tweeting out how great it would be if they won. Judging by the reaction it’s clear the Knights’ have support in their quest to become 2-0-0 in Canada.
