Caps fan reminds Pittsburgh who won the Cup in hilarious way

Remember that time the Washington Capitals won the Stanley Cup?

It happened this past spring, but it feels like an eternity ago as the current NHL season progresses. With that being said, Caps fans are loving the fact that their team are the defending Champions.

And, when you’re the champ, you gotta brag and rub it in just a little bit, right?

Well, one Capitals fan took it upon himself to remind the Penguins that Washington etched their names on the Stanley Cup this past season.

The fan, Slampson Ko, even traveled to brag to the Penguins face-to-face. Except, he didn’t brag to Crosby, Malkin or Kessel.

Nope, Ko traveled to Antarctica to remind real penguins that the Cup was in Washington. After the years of defeat and agony Capitals’ fans have endured, it’s hilarious that Ko traveled to Antarctica to chirp live penguins.

The photo, which was posted on Facebook read: Travelled all the way to Antarctica just to remind the penguins in person that we got the cup! #ALLCAPS

He could have easily gone to a zoo, but I applaud his dedication. The picture has been popular on Facebook, Twitter, and Reddit.

I don’t blame Ko for not getting too close to the penguins as well, he was clearly outnumbered!

I can’t wait to see if Pittsburgh fans respond to the picture if they win the cup in the near future.

If your team won the Cup, where would you travel to rub it in the face of your rival?
