William Nylander reveals his NHL all-time first line – and it’s pretty awesome

William Nylander still hasn’t signed a new contract with Toronto Maple Leafs.
Still, he has made a big name for himself at the club and the fans surely wants him to stay.
Speaking to The Hockey Bible, the Swede now reveals his all time first line of the NHL – and it’s pretty good to say the least.

After three seasons in the NHL, William Nylander has proven himself to be one to watch. Together with Auston Matthews, the Swedish 21-year old forward helped Toronto to three straight playoff spots.

Nylander without a contract

This fall, Nylander will also get so skate next to superstar John Tavares. But he still hasn’t signed a new contract.

The Swede hasn’t been seen at the Toronto preseason camp and questions about his future in the canadian city has been raised.

The regular season is only a week away, and the Maple Leafs are premiering with a big rivalry game against the Montreal Canadiens.

Selected in the first round of the 2014 NHL-draft, Nylander ended last season with 65 points in 91 games. Through the years, together with the rise of his fame, he has gotten the chance of playing different kinds of games with superstars, both active and retired.

His father, Michael, was a long time NHL player and his brother Alexander Nylander is on the brink of taking a spot on the Buffalo Sabres Roster.

“The best of the best”

Speaking to The Hockey Bible, William Nylander was asked to pick his all time first line of the NHL.

Players such as Mats Sundin and Jaromir Jagr first competed for two of the forward spots.

However, after thinking about it for a while, he came up with a first line that would make any starting line-up of the NHL look weak.
“They are all great players. I’ve watched plenty of highlights and they have all been successful in the NHL. They’re the best of the best,” Nylander told The Hockey Bible.
