Jack Edwards Loses His Mind On-Air After Play Blown Dead

Last night against the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Bruins had the opportunity to take a commanding three-nothing lead in their opening round matchup. During the intense fight between these original six-members, the play was blown dead as Andreas Johnsson was on the ice after a collision.

Boston was entering the zone and on the Power Play, so it would have been a prime scoring opportunity for the Bruins. But the referees blew the whistle and stopped the play. According to Edwards, this isn’t a pee-wee game, Johnsson was conscious and didn’t have a bone sticking out so the play should have continued.

Toronto went on to win the game 4-2 and now trail the series 2-1 with game 4 in Toronto tomorrow night.
